Most driveways are about 16 ft wide but often have a roadway allowance of 20 ft. or more.

Double panel gates are the most popular but the single panel 14-ft is an excellent and functional gate option especially with the 3-ft side panels on each end to complete the full 20-ft entryway.

A typical driveway can be from 14 to 20 ft wide. (any regular vehicle including a semi-truck will fit through a 14 ft gate if it is a straight through entry).
